Paint it Black

I love black walls-period. I know you probably have all seen a comeback in the trend of painting it black, and while it may seem scary and dark to work with paint this dark, if done right, it really works. My brother and I painted his Beverly Hills Apartment black and we never looked back in regret. Here are a few of my favorite dark, moody, boudoirs done just right.

Black walls can set the stage for using bright pops of color. Red, pink, and yellow with gold accents is the perfect combo!

I love this room - if anyone knows who the designer is, please advise! The zig zag floors offset with the hot pink bench and faux fur throw is perfection. Artwork is utterly amazing set against smoky walls. Enough said.

This room is now permanently hanging on my inspiration board. I am making a promise to myself that when I move, my next master bedroom will be done exactly like this! I love the deep black walls, the animal prints, the Louis Chairs (which would be so easy to paint the frames black and use black velvet or black ostrich as fabrics). This room makes me want to curl up with a book, watch a movie, or drink a glass of wine after a long day.
